The Colorado HOSA competitive events are an integral part of the Health Science Education curriculum. These events provide opportunities for individual and group demonstration of knowledge, skills, and attitudes developed by HOSA members through classroom instruction and clinical experiences.
Competitive Events are held at the State Leadership Conference. Colorado HOSA follows the National HOSA guidelines unless specified otherwise.

Pharmacy Science is a Piloted Event at National HOSA!
Colorado Pin Competition
This event involves a HOSA member designing a pin depicting Colorado and HOSA. The of Event: selected design will be made into pins that students may order for individual use and/or to trade with other state’s students at the National Leadership Conference.
Pin Competition Guidelines – Due February 8, 2018
Colorado Anatomy In Clay® Competition
This event involves a team of 2-3 students identifying directional terms, bone and marking of Event: identification using the ANATOMY IN CLAY® Learning System and a MANIKEN® model. The team will also build muscles in clay on a MANIKEN® model to determine the function. This is a Colorado event only, there is not a competition at the national level.
