Do I need to be a Health Professional to judge? No way! We have many events that are suitable for all all leaders and professionals – collegiate students, present employees, and retired HOSA friends. You do not need to be a Health Professional to be a judge. Tom, a Financial Planner who is passionate about health lifestyles – judges our Healthy Lifestyle event. An HR department sends employees to evaluate our Job Seeking Skills event. Andrea, employee in healthcare HR, is an expert in PR and serves there! Our HOSA advisor’s daughter is a professional photographer and loves judging the Health Career Photography event.

There is an event for all types of professionals.

Where do I go? Some events are at the Denver Renaissance – Stapleton, and some are at the Community College of Denver (Lowry Health Science Building). Please pay attention to your location in the sign up!

Which event should I judge? Read Competitive Event Guidelines here and check out the CE Flow Chart our HOSA members use to decide their competitions. Both are helpful resources.

Can I judge more than once? Absolutely! We have many employers who let their employees come both days of competition. It is a refreshing way to connect outside the office and work with your colleagues serving in the community.

Is Breakfast and Lunch provided? Yes! Our AM judges will be provided with breakfast and our PM judges will get lunch. Please bring snacks and a water bottle for the day.
